I'm Meg. Guanxi means relationship. This is a simple blog, meant to help keep up with my relationships. We live overseas, which makes me grateful for any help I can get!
Our kids loved the Olympics. Tho, they were very much confused as to what country to root for. At one point one of them said, "If China is on we root for them, if America is on we root for them, but what if they play each other?" Judson is still asking every night to watch the olympics.
On of our local friends took Caroline and Mark to his elementary school one day a few weeks ago. She had had an interview there back in May, but because we don't have the right visa for her, they told us she couldn't go. After our friend and his mom talked with the principle, they let her in. AND she started "summer prep school" the next day. She goes from 8-4 and she absolutely loves it. She is chatty cathy on the way to and way home from school. She loves everything about it. AND when the teacher called to say that they were worried about her, because she isn't eating enough, she even rose to the occasion and now eats more!!
Spider man wanted a picture too.
And Jud of course
This is our sweet friends adopted daughter. She is the same weight and length as Emma. half her age.
Our friends the Whitmore's came to visit for a week. We had a great time. They are great players. Games, kids, culture. Carolyn wasn't sure what "swings" Caroline was talking about when she agreed to ride them!!
Before we went to the pool one day, we decided to go get our local physicals done(needed for school for the 3 youngers). Well, after lines, payments, and many different types of physicals, and 3 hours later, we left with 3 screaming children(from having to give blood).
This is Caroline's school
Caroline was getting scared during a part of Snow White, and Juddy went over to comfort her.
