Yes, there was a Halloween, of sorts, here in Asia

It wasn't our idea, really.  Our mom friends in our complex wanted to celebrate, and so we did.

It was raining outside so we used the underground parking lot to go to each building!

Riding an elevator with 14 kids and their parents in the humid weather was, well, not so fall-like.

Luke's Birthday! Cake and Mooncakes

Luke turned 1 on Sept 8!!  How did that happen?  Last year I waited all day for him to come into the world.  The little bugger didn't want to come, and then a whole year passes so quickly?

Jenna brought him his first gift and a Happy Birthday!

This is the one gift I wrapped and gave him, which was actually a re-gift that I found from our neighbors from Christmas last year!!  Happy Day Lukey!  What do you need anyway?

He was not so sure about sticky icing.  In face, it made him cry:(

He soon got over it tho.

It also happened to be Mid-Autumn Festival.  So we had mooncakes with our neighbors!

Emma's Birthday!

Emma turned 5 on September 4!!

Dinner with the Phillips.  Emma's favorite food is Mac n Cheese.  I got a bunch of outdated mac n cheese this summer for half the imported price:)

Oh my.  Thank you Grandma Susan!!  Now I can play big girl dolls with my sister!!

And this was the party where I thought I had invited Emma's classmates over.  Hmm, why is no one showing up?  OH wait, I actually put the wrong date on the invitation!  Yup.  Thankful for Geneva who was on her way, and for Lisa and Andrew who came last minute to make up the party!  Emma didn't mind and enjoyed herself:)
